Fredrik Eklund, a top New York City real estate agent, once acted in gay porn films under the name Tag Eriksson, for which he delivered an award-winning solo performance in the 2004 film The Hole. Eklund, the member of a prominent Swedish family, was profiled in The New York Times, which described his trajectory in the past decade from gay porn films directed by Wash West to managing director of Core Group Marketing, where he carries a $58-million portfolio and has clients like Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, and the Olsen twins. “As Tag Eriksson, Mr. Eklund appeared in approximately six films shot in California in 2001 and 2002, including ‘The Hole,’ a parody of the popular horror film ‘The Ring.’ (In ‘The Ring’ watching a cursed videotape causes the characters to die; in ‘The Hole’ it makes them gay.)
